Classes

Until recently, Ruta27 offered one class per week over the course of an academic year that ran from September to April. Beginning in Fall 2026, Ruta27 is introducing a new calendar and class structure. Students will attend classes twice a week and will register only for one or more terms they wish to attend:

• Fall Term: 12 weeks (October–December): 24 classes 
• Winter Term: 12 weeks (February–April): 24 classes 
• Spring Term: 6 weeks (May–June): 12 classes 

Classes meet in the evening at several locations in East Hampton. One weekly class focuses on grammar, reading, and writing, while the second emphasizes conversation and practical English skills.

The registration fee is $200 for the Fall or Winter Term and $100 for the Spring Term. The fee includes all textbooks and instructional materials.

Classes are offered from Basic through Advanced levels. A placement test during registration determines each student’s level.
